The monsoon has brought widespread devastation. Uttarakhand is experiencing a severe crisis due to heavy rainfall, with one village completely swept away in Dharali. Himachal Pradesh is also suffering from the effects of heavy rains. Many plain areas are grappling with difficult conditions due to the weather. Delhi and NCR have had significant rainfall in the last 24 hours.

The weather in Delhi NCR is pleasant with light showers and cool winds, and this is expected to continue. Delhi NCR is predicted to experience rain until August 11th, with thunderstorms and varying intensities of rainfall expected.

Uttar Pradesh is under a heavy rainfall alert. The weather department has issued warnings for several areas. Moradabad, Bijnor, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, and their surrounding areas are under a red alert for extremely heavy rainfall. Eastern UP is expected to see light rainfall in certain areas.

Heavy rainfall is expected in Uttarakhand, in districts including Rudrapur, Udham Singh Nagar, Champawat, Nainital, Pithoragarh, Almora, Bageshwar, Uttarkashi, and Pauri Garhwal.
