    The monsoon season continues to impact the country this month, with the weather department predicting heavy rainfall across various regions. From the mountains to the plains, many states are likely to receive significant precipitation. The weather office has issued rain alerts for several states today. In contrast, Delhi, the national capital, has not seen rain for the last 10 days.

    The weather department does not anticipate rain in Delhi until September 21. Today, Delhi will experience partly cloudy skies. The maximum temperature is expected to be 34 degrees Celsius, and the minimum is 24 degrees Celsius. The sky will remain partly cloudy over Delhi until September 21.

    Weather patterns have shifted in Uttar Pradesh. The weather department anticipates heavy rainfall in the state in the coming days. Today, some areas in Western UP are expected to experience rain, while Eastern UP will likely see rain and thunderstorms in many places. Heavy rainfall may also occur in both parts of the state. The weather department has also warned of potential thunderstorms and lightning.

    **States Under Orange Alert**

    Bihar is under an alert for heavy rainfall over the next 72 hours. The weather department has issued an alert, forecasting extremely heavy rainfall in at least nine districts. An Orange Alert has been issued for the state, with predictions of thunderstorms and lightning. Jharkhand is also under an Orange Alert. Heavy rainfall is expected in Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, and Madhya Maharashtra today. Mumbai has been issued an Orange Alert. Heavy rainfall is also expected in Goa. Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Bengal are likely to experience heavy rainfall in the next two days.

    **Weather Conditions in the Mountains and Northeast India**

    Heavy rainfall is expected in Uttarakhand today. The weather department has issued a Yellow Alert for rain in several districts, including Champawat, Udham Singh Nagar, Dehradun, Chamoli, Nainital, and Bageshwar. Himachal Pradesh is also under a heavy rainfall alert today. Northeast India is expected to experience heavy rainfall in Arunachal Pradesh today and tomorrow. Light to moderate rainfall is expected in Nagaland, Manipur, Tripura, and Mizoram from today through September 21. Heavy rainfall is likely in Assam and Meghalaya. Rain may continue in Sikkim until the 18th.
