    The impact of the monsoon is ongoing in the mountainous regions of the country. Heavy rainfall has led to tragedies due to cloudbursts, causing loss of life and injuries. Several states are experiencing a decline in monsoon activity, and thus, a decrease in rainfall. Some states continue to battle with flooding. The Meteorological Department has issued warnings across several states, advising people to limit their outdoor activities.

    Delhi saw intense rain on August 17th, with less rain expected on August 18th. The Yamuna River’s water level is rising, and residents of low-lying areas are being told to move to safer locations.

    In Uttar Pradesh, monsoon activity is expected to decrease on August 18th, which is likely to result in less rainfall. However, heavy rainfall is anticipated on August 19th and 20th. The changing weather could affect people’s health.

    Bihar is expected to have a worsening weather situation on Monday. The Patna Meteorological Center has issued a heavy rainfall warning for various districts, which includes a possibility of lightning strikes. People are advised to stay safe and to avoid being outdoors during storms.

    Uttarakhand has issued alerts for heavy rainfall in certain districts. The Shimla Meteorological Department has issued a warning for heavy rainfall in the Kangra district, advising residents to be vigilant.

    Rajasthan is anticipated to receive light to moderate rainfall in numerous districts. The weather department has issued a warning and advises people to remain cautious.

    The Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rainfall alert for several districts in Madhya Pradesh. Jharkhand is expected to experience cloudy skies for the next four days, along with the possibility of light rainfall and thunderstorms.
