The police team of Coimbatore district of Tamil Nadu state, which had reached Rajgarh district of Madhya Pradesh to catch the criminals suspected in several cases of robbery and theft, was attacked on Saturday evening. The attackers pelted stones and vandalized police vehicles, in which three policemen were injured.

    An FIR has been filed against 20 attackers naming 15 of them. According to the police, the names of some people from Gulkhedi village in Boda police station area of ​​Rajgarh district of Madhya Pradesh have come up in many cases of theft, robbery and dacoity in Coimbatore district. In fact, when the Coimbatore police arrested some miscreants, they named three people from Gulkhedi village of Rajgarh.

    These miscreants were from Coimbatore village and they carried out the incidents there and fled here. To catch them, four policemen from Coimbatore reached Rajgarh on Saturday evening. Here, police force from three police stations reached Gulkhedi village with them in vehicles. The police personnel were questioning the villagers about the miscreants when 15-20 people pelted stones on the police vehicles. This created panic.

    Glasses of other vehicles including Dial 100 were also broken

    One ASI and two policemen were injured in the stone pelting. After the attack, the police force had to flee from the village after finding themselves surrounded. Let us tell you that Gulkhedi village of Rajgarh is infamous for crime and illegal liquor manufacturing. Many people from here have been found involved in crimes at many places earlier also.

    After the attack on the police team, Rajgarh police officials have made a strategy to arrest the attackers. Boda police station TI Ramkumar Bhagat said that the accused are being searched for.
