    Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, speaking at the SCO Defence Ministers’ meeting in Qingdao, China, called for unified action against terrorism. He criticized nations that employ cross-border terrorism and provide sanctuary to terrorists, stressing that the SCO should condemn such actions. Singh underscored the significance of peace and security in the region, identifying radicalization, extremism, and terrorism as major threats. He cited India’s stance on Operation Sindoor as an example of the country’s commitment to defending itself against terrorism. Singh also mentioned the importance of reformed multilateralism and the Sanskrit saying ‘Sarve Jana Sukhino Bhavantu’, emphasizing universal well-being.
