State Bureau, Naiduniya, Bhopal. More than seven and a half lakh government officers and employees of the state will be given the amount of four percent dearness allowance between July, 2023 to February, 2024 as arrears in three installments. It can start before Rakshabandhan. For this, the Commissioner of Finance and Accounts has started the process.

The entire arrears will be paid to the employees by September-October. In this, from fourth to first class employees, Rs 1300 to 15-16 thousand will come in each installment in their accounts. The state government had decided in March this year to give dearness allowance to the employees at the rate of 46 percent from July 1, 2023. Its payment also started from April 2024.

Earlier, it was decided to pay the arrears of increased dearness allowance from July 1, 2023 to February 2024 in July, August and September. The salary for July will be made in a day or two, so it is likely that the first installment of arrears will be paid into the accounts of the employees before Raksha Bandhan in August. After this, two installments will be given in the next two months.

Payment facility made available in Integrated Financial Management System

The officials of the Commissioner of Finance and Accounts have been directed to issue standard operating procedures. Officials of the Finance Department say that preparations are underway to pay the arrears. The arrears of eight months will be paid in three installments.
