Ranchi Administration Focuses on Marathon, Infrastructure Projects and Upcoming Events

Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri chaired a meeting at the Collectorate to provide instructions and oversee the progress of various projects and events. A primary focus was the upcoming marathon, scheduled for June 26th, under the Drug-Free India campaign. The Deputy Commissioner mandated that all preparations be finalized, ensuring that the event effectively promotes awareness regarding the fight against drug abuse. Discussions encompassed various aspects, including publicity plans using different media platforms, security arrangements, route management, and the recruitment of volunteers. The involvement of students was specifically emphasized. In addition to the marathon, the meeting reviewed preparations for the Rat Road Flyover inauguration, the Jagannath Rath Yatra, the Eastern Regional Council meeting, and the upcoming Sawan festival, along with an assessment of the damages due to heavy rainfall in the district and other district level schemes.
