Traffic police officers in Ranchi were victims of a violent attack by auto rickshaw drivers, causing serious injuries to one officer. According to initial reports, the confrontation involved multiple auto drivers who engaged in a physical assault on the traffic police officers. One officer, identified as Rohit Ganjhu, suffered critical injuries after being struck with a stone. He was immediately taken to RIMS hospital in Ranchi for medical care. The auto drivers managed to escape after the attack.
Police have initiated an investigation and are conducting raids to catch the perpetrators. The Traffic SP of Ranchi has assured that strict action will be taken against those involved.
