Building on this success, the ‘Kanchana’ franchise is preparing to launch its fifth installment, tentatively titled ‘Kanchana 4’. Rumors suggest that Rashmika Mandanna, known for her role in ‘Pushpa 2’, might be part of the cast.
Reports suggest that Rashmika Mandanna might be cast to play a crucial role in the film. Raghava Lawrence, who is also the director, reportedly wants Rashmika to play a witch. However, there is no official confirmation yet. If this happens, it will be Rashmika Mandanna’s first horror-comedy project.
‘Kanchana 4’ will also feature Pooja Hegde and Nora Fatehi. Raghava Lawrence will star in the lead role. The series started in 2007 with ‘Muni’. It was followed by ‘Kanchana’ in 2011, ‘Kanchana 2’ in 2015, and ‘Kanchana 3’ in 2019. The official release date is yet to be announced.
