Former JDU heavyweight RCP Singh has set political tongues wagging with suggestions of a return to the party he once led. On Vasant Panchami, amid a Patna ceremony, his evasive yet telling comments about ‘my old home’ sparked fresh speculation.

Responding to JDU overtures, Singh turned the spotlight on spirituality. ‘Maa Saraswati’s day demands auspicious words. Harsh truths should be wrapped in sweetness,’ he remarked, hinting at destiny’s twists.

Reflecting on his deep bond with Nitish Kumar, spanning 25 years, Singh said, ‘I aligned with him young and remained till later years. His governance philosophy prioritizes on-ground impacts.’ The CM’s ongoing Samriddhi Yatra exemplifies this, gathering vital firsthand data for policy refinement.

Under Kumar’s stewardship, Bihar is advancing impressively, according to Singh. ‘Supporters and sympathizers alike yearn for Bihar’s upliftment.’ He noted an intriguing commonality with Prashant Kishor, Nishant Kumar, and himself as Science College alumni across generations—Kishor even strategized from Nitish’s home for 2015 victories.

Such collaborations promise Bihar’s prosperity, Singh opined. Brushing aside immediate merger talks with Jan Suraj, he advised waiting, keeping the door ajar for reconciliation.
