As India gears up for its 76th Republic Day, Salman Khan’s highly anticipated ‘Battle of Galwan’ delivers an early celebration with the release of its poignant title track ‘Matribhumi’. This war epic, rooted in the 2020 Galwan conflict, promises raw emotion and gripping action.

The anthem boasts powerhouse vocals from Arijit Singh, Shreya Ghoshal, and child prodigy Master Sunny Dharmakot, with heartfelt lyrics by Sameer Anjaan and stirring composition by Himesh Reshammiya. Salman shared it on Instagram, where it quickly amassed millions of views and shares.

Listeners are moved to tears, hailing it as a masterpiece that honors the motherland and salutes the gallantry of our jawans. Its lyrics and melody evoke the pain of loss and the fire of patriotism, perfectly priming audiences for the film’s story.

Apurva Lakhia’s directorial venture casts Salman Khan in the lead as the martyred Colonel Bikumalla Santosh Babu, recipient of the Mahavir Chakra. Chitrangda Singh headlines opposite him, supported by Jene Sha, Ankur Bhatia, Abhilaash Chaudhary, Heera Sohal, and Vipin Bhardwaj.

Drawing from true events, the film portrays the Indian soldiers’ defiant response to Chinese aggression in Galwan Valley. Following a compelling teaser, ‘Battle of Galwan’ is locked for April 17, 2026 release. ‘Matribhumi’ stands as a sonic monument to our heroes, amplifying the film’s message of resilience and unity.
