The AAP-led Punjab government has ushered in a new era of healthcare equity with the launch of the Chief Minister’s Health Plan, providing free treatment worth up to ₹10 lakh to each family. Held in Mohali, the Thursday launch featured Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann, who distributed initial cards to eligible recipients.

High-end private hospitals are now accessible to the economically weaker sections, signaling a paradigm shift in service delivery. Uniquely, Punjab combines this with free electricity, education, and women’s bus travel, outpacing other states.

Kejriwal lambasted opposition infighting, asserting AAP’s vision for a secure tomorrow. He called the occasion monumental for India, critiquing 75 years of unkept promises and public disregard by prior administrations.

From terrorism to drug epidemics, Punjab’s trials are behind it; AAP’s leadership promises a brighter chapter. Kejriwal reminisced about election pledges, including healthcare vows met despite initial disbelief. Infrastructure booms with 1,000 mohalla clinics ready and 500 underway, contrasting sharply with predecessors’ meager 400 centers.

Inspired by Sikh principles, CM Mann announced cards for all 65 lakh families, enveloping 3 crore citizens. ‘We’ve created a model for India,’ he proclaimed, emphasizing holistic welfare that eases lives and inspires replication across the nation.
