Deoghar witnessed a fatal road accident on Tuesday night, resulting in the untimely death of Alok Kumar, a 39-year-old man. The incident occurred on December 9th at approximately 10:45 PM, and an FIR (547/2025) has been registered at the Deoghar Nagar Police Station.
It is reported that Alok Kumar was standing near Modern Public School, waiting for the school gate to open. A speeding car (JH15M3310) hit him forcefully, causing him to fall and sustain severe injuries. He was taken to the hospital by locals, but sadly, he was declared dead by attending physicians.
The FIR contains statements indicating that the driver of the car involved is a family member of JMM leader Rahul Chandravanshi. Named as accused in the FIR are Rahul Chandravanshi himself, his brother, his nephew, and some unidentified individuals. Police are actively pursuing the investigation under sections 281, 103, and 61(1)(b) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
