Chhattisgarh’s infrastructure is poised for a significant upgrade, thanks to a recent meeting between Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. The meeting resulted in the approval of ₹600 crore in funding for various road projects under the Central Road Fund (CRF). This funding will be used to construct and improve roads across the state. The State Capital Region will also benefit from the upgrade of a two-lane road to four lanes. To help ease traffic in Raipur, four bridges will be built, and roads connecting Raipur to other districts will be expanded from two to four lanes. The adoption of the ‘Gati Shakti portal’ was discussed to streamline future road project approvals.
