Ross Taylor, the former New Zealand cricketer, has chosen to return to cricket after retiring. He has made the decision to represent Samoa in the sport. Taylor last played an international match in 2022 against the Netherlands. He played 112 Test matches for New Zealand, scoring 7683 runs at an average of 44.66 in 196 innings, including 19 centuries and 35 half-centuries. In addition, he scored 8607 runs in 236 ODI matches at an average of 47.55. During this time, he hit 21 centuries and 51 fifties. Taylor aims to contribute to the Samoa team and participate in the T20I World Cup next year.
