Royal Enfield, a leading brand in the Indian cruiser motorcycle market, has updated its price list to reflect changes in the Goods and Services Tax (GST) system. The company’s 350cc motorcycles are now more affordable due to the recent tax adjustments.
Following the government’s reduction of GST rates and removal of the compensation cess, Royal Enfield announced price cuts up to ₹22,000 on its 350cc motorcycles. The revised price list has now been released.
The new prices will be effective from September 22, 2025. The Hunter 350, in its base configuration, starts at ₹1.38 lakh. The top-spec Goa Classic variant is priced at ₹2.20 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom. Before the changes, two-wheelers were taxed at 31 percent (28 percent GST + 3 percent cess). The new regulations mean two-wheelers with engines below 350cc will have an 18 percent GST.
While prices have decreased for the 350cc range, models with larger engines have become more expensive. Affected models include the Scram 440, Himalayan 450, Guerrilla 450, Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650, Shotgun 650, Bear 650, and Super Meteor 650. The Super Meteor saw the largest increase, with prices rising by approximately ₹30,000. These larger-engine motorcycles are now subject to a 40 percent GST, up from the previous 31 percent.
