The Royal Enfield Scram 440 is back on sale following a temporary suspension to resolve a mechanical issue. The problem involved the Woodruff key within the magneto, which caused issues with the engine restarting. The Scram 440 offers an alternative to the Himalayan for riders looking for off-road capability without a premium price. This model has a 443cc, air/oil-cooled engine that produces 25.4 bhp and 34Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip assist clutch. Higher-end models include switchable ABS and alloy wheels. Production is set to increase gradually as sales have resumed.
