Royal Enfield achieved a significant milestone by setting a new sales record, marking the highest monthly sales in its 124-year history. The company sold 1,24,328 motorcycles in September 2025. This achievement followed an earlier record set in August 2025, when 1,14,002 units were sold. The September sales figures represent a 43% increase compared to September 2024, when 86,978 motorcycles were sold, with an increase of 37,350 units. Additionally, sales rose by 9% compared to August 2025, equating to 10,326 more units sold. The growth is mainly due to the festive season in India and the impact of reduced GST rates.

In the 350cc and below category, the company sold 1,07,478 units in September 2025, showing a 43% increase from the previous year. Total sales for the period of April-September 2025 reached 5,09,610 units, a 32% increase. The premium segment (motorcycles above 350cc) saw sales of 16,850 motorcycles, which is 45% higher than the previous year. The total sales for this category from April to September were 82,293 units, reflecting a 22% rise.

In the domestic market, the company sold 1,13,573 motorcycles, a 43% increase from the previous year. Export sales also performed well, with 10,755 units sold in September, marking a 41% increase. From April-September 2025, the total exports reached 70,421 units, demonstrating a significant 60% jump. With the implementation of GST 2.0, motorcycles up to 350cc became more affordable because the tax rate decreased to 18 percent. Consequently, Royal Enfield decreased the prices of its 350cc models starting September 22. Previously, these models were taxed at 28% GST, and this resulted in a price reduction of up to 20,000 rupees for Royal Enfield’s 350cc models.
