Shamli: Rajya Sabha MP and former Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Dinesh Sharma has given a big statement about the Waqf Amendment Bill. He clearly said that this bill is in the interest of Muslim society, but some people are presenting it in a wrong way. Sharma directly targeted AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi and said that he is working to incite people.
What is the case of Waqf Bill?
The Central Government has introduced this bill to prevent the management and misuse of Waqf properties. According to Dinesh Sharma, the purpose of this bill is to eliminate illegal occupation on Waqf lands and to ensure correct use of these assets. He claimed that people of Muslim society are also joining the BJP, which has caused some political forces to be shocked.

Sharma said strictly in a public meeting, “Today there is thousands of acres of land in the name of Waqf across the country, but the income from it is just Rs 163 crore. Is it in the interest of Muslim society? The lands are not given to the orphanages and the poor, but to the builders.”
He further said that women are not represented in the Waqf Board nor do they get compensation. “Is this Islamic justice?” – Sharma raised the question.
“Owaisi only works for provoking!”
Dinesh Sharma targeted Asaduddin Owaisi and said that he always works to incite Muslim society. “When the BJP removed Section 370, similar panic was spread. The same game is being played today.”
He insisted that the BJP does not do politics of appeasement, but talks about development and justice. “Our government works for every citizen of India, whether it is from any religion or community.”

Dinesh Sharma claimed that in the last few years, a large number of Muslim community people have been associated with BJP. They said, “This is the reason why some people are afraid. They want Muslim society to be confused and their politics continues.”

Sharma raised the question that where was the opposition when Waqf land was being misused? “Today, when the government is improving, these people are bent on spoiling the atmosphere.”
