Former Indian cricketer Saba Karim offered his analysis on the IPL, focusing on the Qualifier 2 clash between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Punjab Kings (PBKS). He believes MI has an advantage due to their current momentum and strong bowling lineup. He also expressed his support for Virat Kohli and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) to win the IPL.

Karim, speaking at the Fit India ‘Sundays on Cycle’ initiative in Delhi, highlighted MI’s dominant form, particularly in contrast to PBKS’s recent loss. MI showed a strong batting performance in the eliminator.

Karim also discussed Kohli’s outstanding performance and the prospect of RCB winning the IPL.

Furthermore, Karim commented on India’s upcoming tour of England, seeing it as a chance for a new-look, youthful team under Shubman Gill to perform well. He praised the team’s bench strength and the opportunities for young players.

Karim additionally lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s support for young cricketers like Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who has demonstrated impressive skill in the IPL, including a record-breaking century.
