    CM Mohan Yadav in Industry Conclave

    Navdunia Representative, Sagar. Regional Industry Conclave is being organized on Friday at Sagar divisional headquarters. The conclave was inaugurated by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav did it. Many dignitaries including ministers, MLAs are present on the stage with the CM. The event is being organized at PTC Ground. More than 4500 entrepreneurs from India and abroad have registered themselves in this conclave. It also includes more than 60 industrialists from various sectors of the industry. Earlier, conclaves had been held in the state in Gwalior in August, Jabalpur in July and Ujjain in February.

    Launch of Investment Facilitation Centers

    During the inaugural session, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav performed the Bhoomi Pujan of the Regional Office of MPIDC in Sagar and inaugurated the 6 Investment Facilitation Centers of the division through a single click. Along with this, he also virtually inaugurated the office of APIDC Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu).

    A lot of investment will come

    In this one-day event, investment proposals were received in the fields of minerals, tourism, renewable energy, petrol chemicals, plastics, food processing, dairy and furniture manufacturing, textiles, IT, data centers. In the inaugural session of the conference, industrialists put forward investment proposals worth more than Rs 9000 crore in the Bundelkhand region. If they come to fruition, about 30,000 people will get employment. A workshop on ODOP will be organized at the end of the conference.

    In the conclave, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will discuss with entrepreneurs on various aspects of investing in Bundelkhand. In the inaugural session, leading industrialists of the country expressed their views regarding investment in the state.

    Chief Minister will communicate with industrialists

    During this conclave, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and officials of MP Industrial Development Corporation will discuss the development prospects and industries in Bundelkhand at a round table with the delegates of various companies. There will also be one-to-one communication.

    Sectoral sessions will be held

    Various sectoral sessions will be organized in the conclave. In this, the main focus will be on the topics related to Bina Refinery regarding petrochemical, plastic and related sectors. Apart from this, there will be sectoral sessions on agriculture, food processing and dairy sectors, MSMEs and startups, cottage industries, in which the main focus will be on beedi industry.

    There will be two round-table sessions on Renewable Energy, Textiles and Technical Textiles. Workshops related to One District-One Product (ODOP) and organizing hackathons for IT based solutions to local problems are also included.

    Focus on cottage industry

    The main focus of the conclave is on local cottage industries. In this, a detailed action plan based on beedi industry will be discussed in a separate session. In ‘One District-One Product’, world class quality, marketing and processing of local products of all the districts of Sagar division and other issues will be discussed.

    Bhavru Pandal on PTC grounds

    A huge and grand pandal has been made in the PTC ground for the conclave. Apart from investors, these include industrialists including departmental officers. Arrangements for their food have been made on the PTC grounds itself. The responsibility of food has been given to the Tourism Corporation.

    Only the officers of the Tourism Corporation are looking after this work. According to the information, Bundeli dishes will be served to the industrialists along with the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister will dine with around three hundred people. Kadhi, Bara, Seera, white sesame bijora along with Kodo, jowar and kutki and jowar rotis will be served in the food.

    Book all hotels in the city

    All the hotels in the city are booked for the conclave. Due to the large number of guests, extra mattresses are being installed in some rooms. Guests are still coming. However, most of the guests expected to attend the conclave are yet to arrive.

    Apart from hotels, arrangements have also been made for guests in other buildings including government rest houses, guest houses. Due to the Regional Conclave, changes have been made in the traffic system of the city. Traffic has been diverted around the venue during the day. For vehicle parking, arrangements have been made for vehicles at other places including the Army ground near the PTC ground.
