Salman Khan has revealed that he missed the opportunity to own an IPL team. He stated that he was offered the chance to buy a team in 2008 but declined. He shared this during an event in Mumbai, where he was asked if he would consider purchasing an IPL team. He added that he doesn’t regret his decision. The actor also mentioned that this decision prevented a potential clash with Shah Rukh Khan, whose team, Kolkata Knight Riders, competes in the IPL. Other Bollywood personalities like Preity Zinta and Shilpa Shetty invested in IPL teams.
