He described Sanskrit as the core of Indian culture, giving India a distinct identity on a global scale. According to CM Sai, Sanskrit is the foundation of grammar, philosophy, and science, and promotes logical thinking. He highlighted the continued relevance and utility of Sanskrit education in the modern world. He stated that Sanskrit language and literature are fundamental to India’s heritage and must be preserved and enhanced. He viewed the conference as an opportunity to strengthen Indian culture, traditions, and the nation through discussions centered on the Sanskrit language. He praised the efforts of Sanskrit Bharati Chhattisgarh and Sarayupareen Brahmin Sabha Chhattisgarh in the preservation and promotion of the Sanskrit language.

CM Sai also discussed the potential for integrating Sanskrit into modern education, noting that doing so would contribute to the intellectual growth of students. He highlighted the extensive body of knowledge found in Sanskrit texts like the Vedas, Upanishads, and Puranas, which provide insights into philosophy, science, and life values. He emphasized the continuing relevance of Ayurveda, mathematics, and astrology, as presented in the Vedas, which can be areas of research. Furthermore, he said the principles of Karma, knowledge, and devotion detailed in these texts can promote harmony and balance in contemporary life. Therefore, Sanskrit education remains relevant and valuable in today’s world.

He emphasized the importance of connecting the youth with Sanskrit literature to ensure they become proficient in preserving our heritage by sharing this knowledge with future generations. He said that by embracing the wisdom of the Vedas and Upanishads, we can safeguard our legacy and enrich our lives. Furthermore, he added that technology can play a role in making Sanskrit education more engaging and relevant.
