    Shaan, the celebrated Bollywood singer, mesmerized the audience at TV9 Bharatvarsh’s ‘Festivals of India.’ Known for his exceptional singing and charismatic presence, Shaan continues to enjoy a large following. His fresh and unique style of singing has made him a favorite. Among his numerous hit songs, ‘Tanha Dil’ stands out as a song that has resonated deeply with listeners.

    The lyrics, ‘Aankhon mein sapne liye ghar se hum chal to diye… jaane ye raahein ab le jaayengi kahaan…’, capture the emotions of those who leave home for new experiences. Released 25 years ago, the song remains a timeless classic.

    Shaan, in a conversation with TV9 Bharatvarsh, shared the making of this song. He explained that he comes from a musical family. His father, Manas Mukherji, imparted his musical knowledge to him. Shaan began his career singing jingles. He felt ready to take the next step at the age of 15-16.

    Shaan mentioned that the music composer, Ram Sampath, created the melody. Shaan sang the song in memory of his friends. He further added that the song always reminds him of his friends and its significance to him. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the song.
