In a move that bridges spirituality and public health, Union Minister Amit Shah heads to Uttarakhand for a pivotal two-day engagement in Haridwar and Rishikesh. From January 21-22, his schedule packs in high-profile inaugurations and commemorations, spotlighting the state’s cultural heartbeat.

The tour opens on January 21 at 2:45 PM in Rishikesh’s Swargashram Geeta Bhavan. Here, Shah will unveil the 100th anniversary issue of ‘Kalyan’, Geeta Press’s revered monthly that has shaped ethical discourse in India for generations. His address will delve into the publication’s role in upholding dharma and cultural ethos.

January 22 dawns in Haridwar with a 10 AM ceremony at Patanjali Yogpeeth’s Maharishi Dayanand Gram, where Shah officially launches the Emergency and Critical Care Hospital. This facility arrives as a game-changer, offering round-the-clock critical interventions and bolstering regional healthcare resilience.

Next, at 10:45 AM, he pays homage at Gayatri Tirth Shantikunj’s Akhand Jyoti, engaging with the devoted Gayatri Parivar. The crescendo builds at 11:15 AM on Haridwar’s Bareilly Island for the majestic Shatabdi Varsh Samaroh 2026, honoring Param Vandaniya Mata Bhagwati Devi Sharma’s birth centenary and the Akhand Deep milestone. Expect a massive turnout of pilgrims and dignitaries.

Shah’s itinerary reflects a visionary approach to governance, intertwining health upgrades with spiritual revitalization. As Uttarakhand thrives on its sacred legacy, this visit heralds collaborative progress, ensuring sustainable advancements in wellness and heritage preservation.
