    Shardiya Navratri, the festival of goddess worship, will begin from Thursday, October 3. The nine-day festival will begin with Ghat Sthapana in Shaktipeeth Harsiddhi Temple. 400 devotees have also booked Deepamaalika for different days.

The temple management has started the work of painting and pruning trees. Matin etc. has also been purchased for the convenience of the visitors.

    Devotees across the country have also started booking for lighting the Deepamaalika. According to the Panchang calculations, the festival of goddess worship, Sharadiya Navratri, will begin from Thursday, October 3. The nine-day festival will begin with Ghat Sthapana in Shaktipeeth Harsiddhi Temple.

    The fee is Rs 3100

    Devotees from all over the country will come to visit Mata Harsiddhi. During the nine days of Navaratri, Deepamalaika will be lit every evening during Sandhya Aarti with the help of devotees. Harsiddhi Temple in-charge Indresh Lodhi said that during the nine days of Navaratri, collective Deepamalaika will be lit so that maximum number of devotees can get the religious benefit of lighting Deepamala. For this, a fee of Rs. 3100 per person has been fixed.

    400 devotees made bookings

    About 400 devotees from across the country have booked Deepamalaika for different days. There is no restriction on the number of devotees to light the Deepamalaika collectively. Devotees can also make spot bookings in nine days as per their wish.

    Devotees can make single booking on normal days

    According to the tradition of Harsiddhi temple, Deepmalaika is lit during Sharadiya Navratri. But for the past few years, devotees also get Deepmalaika lit on their birthdays, wedding anniversaries etc. Due to this, Deepmalaika is now lit throughout the year.

    In case there are no bookings on normal days, anyone can make a single booking for Deepamalaika. It costs more than 15 thousand rupees for one person to light Deepamalaika.
