Shreyas Iyer’s poor form continues to plague his game as he struggled against Australia A. Playing in an unofficial Test match, he was dismissed after scoring a mere 8 runs from 13 balls. This follows a string of low scores in recent matches, including the Duleep Trophy where his semi-final performance was also underwhelming. The captain of India A team has not been performing well. Despite Iyer’s disappointing performance, four Indian batsmen displayed excellent form, each scoring a half-century and boosting India A’s score close to 400 runs.
