Simarjeet Singh, who was part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2024, had a season to forget. Despite this, he was a sought-after player in the DPL 2025 auction and proved his worth through consistent performances. This was evident in the Qualifier 1 match. Playing for Central Delhi Kings, Simarjeet made it tough for the East Delhi batsmen on August 29.
In a rain-affected match reduced to 15 overs per side, Central Delhi elected to bowl first. Simarjeet made an immediate impact, taking two wickets in the second over.
