Mohammed Siraj, the Indian pace bowler, celebrated a successful five-match Test series against England, marked by his exceptional bowling. He took 23 wickets, a performance that earned him the title of the series’ leading wicket-taker, a first in his career. This achievement received acclaim, including a notable acknowledgment from Sachin Tendulkar. Siraj expressed his gratitude for Tendulkar’s kind words.

A video posted on the ‘100MB’ ‘X’ account featured Tendulkar’s praise for Siraj’s gameplay. Tendulkar commended Siraj’s approach, emphasizing his energy and the indistinguishable nature of his body language, irrespective of wickets taken. Siraj responded to this with a note of thanks.

The final Test, held at The Oval, saw India winning the match. India scored 224 runs in their first innings while England scored 247. Siraj took four wickets in the first innings. In India’s second innings, they scored 396 runs. England needed 374 runs to win but were all out for 367. Siraj took five wickets in the second innings, finishing with nine wickets in total.
