Six Police Officers Suspended After BJP Worker Dies in Ghazipur Protest

Following a violent confrontation between police and BJP workers in Ghazipur, a BJP worker has died from injuries sustained during a police lathicharge. The incident has prompted the suspension of six police personnel, including the SHO of Nonhara, a Sub-Inspector, a Head Constable, and three Constables. Further action was taken against two SIs and three Constables who were also present at the police outpost. A Magistrate will lead the investigation into the events. A postmortem examination is currently being conducted on the body of the deceased, identified as Siyaram.
