Soybean is being sold at a price lower than the support price

Arjun Patidar, a farmer of village Bodayta, said that the support price of soybean has been fixed at Rs 4892 per quintal. But soybean is being purchased by the mandis and traders at a price much lower than this price. Due to which the farmers are facing a loss of about one thousand to thirteen hundred rupees. While on the other hand, new soybean is going to arrive after two and a half months. Farmers are getting Rs 4000 per quintal in the mandis. It will be difficult for the farmers to even recover the cost.

Farmers started a campaign on social media

Tehsil President of Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, Ishwar Patidar said that due to the wrong policies of the government, the price of soybean has not increased. On the other hand, the prices of the products used by farmers in farming have increased a lot. There has been a huge increase in the prices of fertilizers, medicines, labour etc.

But farmers are not getting fair prices for their crops. Farmer leaders said that farmers are making their voices heard by the government through social media. Now it remains to be seen how seriously the government takes the demands of farmers.
