The 44th All India Police Equestrian Duty Meet, hosted in Tekanpur, Madhya Pradesh, from February 12-26, 2026, witnessed Haryana Police’s stellar outing with four hard-earned medals. This elite gathering of mounted police units emphasized precision riding, discipline, and tactical maneuvers essential for law enforcement.
Haryana’s athletes shone brightly across events, their flawless executions captivating audiences and affirming the state’s prowess in niche sports. This feat builds on a legacy of excellence, driven by state-of-the-art facilities and relentless preparation.
In his commendation, DGP Ajay Singhal praised the team’s dedication: ‘Our success in equestrian arenas mirrors the discipline we instill in every operation. It’s a proud moment that showcases our training excellence.’ He urged continued pursuit of national honors.
Tamil Nadu Police topped the charts with seven medals (two golds, five bronzes) and two trophies. Chennai City Police Mounted Unit excelled with one gold, five bronzes, and a trophy. Highlights included ASP Kunal Utham Shirode’s gold and rolling trophy, Head Constable Suganya’s gold, two bronzes, and Best Lady Rider award, plus bronzes for Head Constable Manikandan, Horse Handler Manivannan, and Assistant Kartik.
