The Assam Cricket Association (ACA) has revealed its senior men’s team for the Dr. (Capt.) K. Thimmappa Memorial Cricket Tournament. The team will be led by Riyan Parag. The tournament is scheduled to start on September 4th. The squad of 20 players includes a blend of experienced and young players. The team features Danish Das, Swarupam Purkayastha, and Subhankar Roy, alongside Abhishek Thakur, Mukund Hussain, Anurag Talukdar, and Amlanjyoti Das. The coaching staff comprises Noel David as coach and manager, Rajib Ranjansri as physio, Bhesham Pratap Singh as trainer, and Rajesh Sharma as video analyst. Riyan Parag has also been selected for the East Zone team for the 2025 Duleep Trophy. Riyan Parag will be the vice-captain of the East Zone team. The Duleep Trophy 2025 is scheduled to begin on August 28th. Riyan Parag also captained a few matches for Rajasthan Royals in this year’s IPL.
