Bangladesh’s Nasum Ahmed not competing with Taijul Islam Shakib Al Hasan – Performance is similar for everybody

Bangladesh spinner Nasum Ahmed mentioned that he’s not competing with Taijul Islam and Shakib Al Hasan for locations within the nationwide workforce. After taking part in 22 T20Is for the Tigers, the left-armer made his debut in opposition to the West Indies within the first ODI a few days in the past. “I don’t have any competition with anyone. Taijul bhai will play his game while I will play mine and at the end of the day whoever plays well will play. I am not having competition with Taijul bhai or Shakib bhai. Among us whoever will play better will play and I feel performance is same for everyone,” Nasum was quoted as saying to the reporters on Thursday, July 14.

Even as Shakib Al Hasan isn’t a part of the series for certain reasons, Taijul is a part of the Bangladesh squad for the white-ball matches.

Nasum stated that bowling in the powerplay in the T20 format has helped him immensely in 50-over cricket as well.

“I all the time bowled within the PowerPlay there (within the T20s) and it was the identical as I got here to bowl within the PowerPlay (within the ODI) and for me, each look to be the identical,” Nasum stated.

“My first plan is to ball dot balls and since more often than not I bowled within the Powerplays and my recreation plan is (to see) methods to cease the stream of the runs.
