The BCCI Naman Awards celebrated enduring legacies as former India head coach Rahul Dravid, women’s legend Mithali Raj, and ex-president Roger Binny received Colonel C.K. Naidu Lifetime Achievement Awards. Dravid’s era delivered the 2024 T20 World Cup and a 2023 ODI final berth, showcasing his mastery from November 2021 onwards.

International excellence was front and center: Shubman Gill’s best men’s performer tag for 2024-25, Smriti Mandhana’s fifth women’s international accolade, debut triumphs for Harshit Rana and N. Shree Charani. Mandhana’s run mountain and Deepti Sharma’s ODI wickets underscored female firepower.

Turning to domestics, Mumbai Cricket Association’s top honors set the tone. All-round gems Ayush Mhatre (limited-overs) and Harsh Dubey (Ranji) shone via Lala Amarnath Awards. Jagmohan Dalmiya nods for juniors included Ira Jadhav, Shefali Verma, under-16 wicket-takers Yashvardhan Singh Chauhan and Kishan Sarkar, run-machines Shantanu Singh and Pritam Raj.

M.A. Chidambaram Trophies celebrated U19 bowling by Hemchudan J and Arkapit Roy, batting by Nitya J Pandya and Raghavan Ramamoorthy; U23 CK Naidu leaders Vicky Ostwal, Deepjyoti Saikia, Macneil HN, and R. Jashwant Shriram. Ranji’s Madhavrao Scindia elite stars Harsh Dubey (wickets) and YV Rathod (runs), plate winners Suchit J. and Snehal Kauthankar. BCCI’s awards tapestry weaves individual brilliance into national pride.
