England have added leg-spinner Matt Parkinson to their squad for the second Test match towards New Zealand at Trent Bridge, starting June 10.
The 25-year-old Parkinson is the one change to England’s squad from the primary Test, which they received by 5 wickets at Lord’s after former skipper Joe Root performed a match-winning unbeaten knock of 115 off 170.

Parkinson made his Test debut in an unconventional method, coming in as a concussion substitute for spinner Jack Leach, who harm himself whereas fielding. Leach has nonetheless been retained within the workforce however has to show his health to be out there for taking part in XI choice.
