Subsequently, Zimbabwe surpassed this mark on October 23, 2024, setting a new record of 344 runs against Gambia. However, England’s achievement is unique. It is the first time that a full member of the ICC (with Test cricket status) has scored 300 runs in an innings. Previously, the highest score between ICC members belonged to Team India, who scored 297 runs against Bangladesh in 2024.
