The 12th-ranked Sindhu crushed Denmark’s Amalie Schulz 21-13, 21-15 in 28 minutes flat, extending her perfect record after a 21-9, 21-12 demolition of Tung Siou-Yu. Her reward: a quarterfinal showdown with world No. 1 Akane Yamaguchi, where Sindhu’s 15-13 head-to-head edge adds intrigue.
