Kolkata Knight Riders delivered a batting masterclass in Raipur, challenging Royal Challengers Bengaluru with a 193-run target in IPL 2026 match number 57. Angkrish Raghuvanshi’s explosive 71 off 46 balls, featuring seven boundaries and three maximums, was the highlight as KKR finished at 192/4 after rain delayed proceedings.

Toss winner RCB chose to bowl, putting pressure on KKR openers. Fin Allen smashed 18 off 8 before perishing, leaving Ajinkya Rahane to build with Angkrish. Their 25-run partnership off 13 balls set the tone, with Rahane’s 19 including four fours.

Angkrish then dominated, first with a 68-run stand with Cameron Green (32 off 24), surging past 100. Post-Green, the 76-run alliance with Rinku Singh (49* off 29) sealed a strong finish. RCB’s trio of Bhuvneshwar, Hazlewood, and Rasikh shared the wickets.

Full KKR XI: Rahane (capt), Allen, Green, Angkrish (keeper), Powell, Pandey, Rinku, Narine, Roy, Arora, Tyagi. RCB’s side: Bethel, Kohli, Patidar (c), Jitesh (wk), David, Iyer, Krunal, Bhuvneshwar, Rasikh, Duffy, Hazlewood.

RCB’s chase for table-topping glory now hinges on their batting firepower against KKR’s bowlers. Angkrish’s innings has shifted momentum firmly in the Knights’ favor.
