Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate has earned his maiden call-up to France’s senior squad, changing Manchester United’s Raphael Varane within the Nations League squad.
The 29-year-old Varane has suffered muscular ache in his left thigh, the French soccer federation mentioned in a press release on Saturday.
The Manchester United star, who “underwent tests” on Saturday, will miss France’s subsequent three matches in opposition to Croatia on June 6 (away) and June 13 (dwelling) and Austria on June 10 (away).
Konate will be part of the group as quickly as attainable and will probably be current in Split on Sunday for coaching forward of the match in opposition to Croatia on June 6.
