By India Today Web Desk: An ardent cricket fan from Nepal went the additional mile and toured Australia to satisfy his idol Rohit Sharma and cheer for his favorite cricket group ‘India’ within the ongoing T20 World Cup 2022. Mahendra from Nepal has been idolising the India captain ever since he was 10 years previous.

“I am a big fan of Rohit Sharma. He is the captain of the Indian team and also the Mumbai Indians. I came to watch him especially. I have been following him since I was ten years of age,” mentioned the fan in a video that has gone viral on social media.

Mahendra was noticed cheering for the India cricket group in the course of the Super 12 match in opposition to the Netherlands at Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG).
