Netherlands Squad Revealed for Historic T20 World Cup Bow 2026

Historic moment for Dutch women’s cricket: the 15-member squad for ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 is out, led by Babette de Leede. Announced by the Netherlands Cricket Board, this squad heads to England and Wales for the June 12 opener—their first-ever stint in the 12-team spectacle.

De Leede, in a board statement, radiated excitement: ‘Thrilled for our World Cup debut against the globe’s finest. This is our shot to shine internationally. England’s proximity promises a sea of Orange supporters, creating magic for team, families, and devoted Dutch fans.’

The path to qualification shone bright. In Nepal’s 2024 Global Qualifiers, they notched three Super Sixes victories, clinching a maiden entry.

Group A challengers: Australia, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, South Africa. Aim: top-two for semis. Schedule: vs Bangladesh June 14 (Edgbaston), India June 17 (Headingley), Australia June 20 (Utilita Bowl), South Africa June 25 (Bristol County Ground), Pakistan June 27.
