By India Today Web Desk: Chelsea supervisor Graham Potter has stated that he was pleased with Chelsea’s efficiency throughout their loss towards Manchester City. Riyad Mahrez scored the one objective of the sport as Manchester City lower the hole between them and Arsenal to 5 factors within the league.

Speaking after the sport, Potter stated he was pleased along with his staff’s efficiency regardless of shedding the sport 1-0.

“I thought there was a lot right today in terms of the performance. I liked the players, I liked what we tried to do. I think we’re playing against a top side. I think our performance level was good, it was competitive,” stated Potter.

The former Brighton supervisor stated there was quite a lot of spirit from Chelsea, including that there was lots to love of their efficiency.

“There was a lot of spirit on the pitch. We hit the post, we had some opportunities, we had courage in attack. We took responsibility when we had to defend. We suffered and we did that as a team. So there’s a lot to like. I thought we were disappointing after Nottingham Forest, but we took a step forward today in terms of our performance,” Potter added.

He went on to say that Chelsea must give attention to the following recreation and never assume an excessive amount of sooner or later. Chelsea are at present positioned tenth within the league.

“I think that the situation that we’re in, to think about what’s going to happen in five months’ time is the wrong path for us. We have to just focus on the next day and the next game,” stated Potter.

Potter gave an damage replace about Raheem Sterling, Christian Pulisic and Mason Mount.
