Rishabh Pant has achieved a historic milestone, becoming the first Indian wicketkeeper-batter to score centuries in both innings of a Test match on English soil. Pant’s aggressive batting left the English bowlers struggling. He completed his first century in 126 balls, scoring 134. In his second innings, he reached his century in 130 balls, hitting 2 sixes and 13 fours. This performance has positioned Pant among the top wicketkeeper-batters. Playing as vice-captain, Pant displayed responsibility and experience, especially in the absence of key players. He has joined the ranks of only seven Indian batsmen to accomplish this feat, a first in England. India holds a significant lead on Day 4 of the match.
