During a Fit India event in Delhi, Saba Karim provided his insights on the Qualifier 2 clash between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Punjab Kings (PBKS). Karim believes MI will likely win because of their good form and bowling strength. He also expressed his hope that Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will win the IPL. Karim noted PBKS’s loss to RCB despite their league standing and highlighted MI’s strong batting in their eliminator match against Gujarat Titans (GT). He also spoke about Virat Kohli’s outstanding performance. Kohli has scored 614 runs in the tournament. Karim also discussed India’s upcoming tour of England and the opportunity for young players under Shubman Gill. The England tour starts from June 20. Karim also applauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s support for young batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi who had an exceptional season, scoring 252 runs in seven matches. The opening Test match of the tour will be held at Leeds.
