The latest rankings place Indian Kudo athlete Mohd. Sohail Khan in second place in Asia for the Adult Male -250 PI category. These rankings were released in anticipation of the Kudo Asian Championship 2025, which will be held in Tokyo, Japan. Sohail trails Ryota Ondera of Japan, who leads the rankings after securing gold at the 6th Kudo World Championships. Sohail Khan has five points, stemming from his silver medal at the 2025 Kudo World Cup in Bulgaria and a bronze at the 2024 Eurasian Cup. Tsubasa Terasaka of Japan is in third place. Sohail qualified for the Asian Championship after performing successfully at the national selection trials held in Surat. Sohail will participate in the Kudo National Tournament, the Federation Cup, and the Akshay Kumar International Kudo Tournament in Surat to prepare for the Asian Championship. He has a strong track record, including winning the Madhya Pradesh State Kudo Championship 2025 and earning 22 consecutive national gold medals.
