The Southern Brave team, owned by the Delhi Capitals (DC) co-owner GMR Group, concluded their campaign in The Hundred 2025 with a victory. The match saw a stellar performance from England’s opening batsman, Jason Roy, who has been previously banned from the Indian Premier League (IPL). Roy’s aggressive batting, comprising 11 boundaries and sixes, was instrumental in leading Southern Brave to a commanding win. Welsh Fire’s Tom Kohler-Cadmore also delivered a notable performance with a quick fifty. However, his effort was not sufficient to secure a win for his team. Craig Overton of Southern Brave delivered a great spell with 22 runs, picking up three wickets in his 20 balls. Jordan Thompson took two wickets.
