Umesh Yadav dominated out of Aus vs Ind Test collection; injured pacer to return to India

Team India quick bowler Umesh Yadav, who limped off the sphere on day 3 of the Boxing Day Test on the Melbourne Cricket Ground, is dominated out of the rest of Australia vs India collection and is about to return to India, as per ANI.

As per the report, sources within the Indian camp confirmed that the 33-year-old pacer will now be aiming to recuperate in time for the England collection in February.

“His scans came in and he will miss the third and fourth game. So, there was no point in holding him back and it is better that he returns to the country and undergoes rehab at the National Cricket Academy (NCA). He left on Wednesday night,” the supply informed ANI.

The supply additionally added that T Natarajan, who made his debut within the limited-over collection after an excellent IPL 2020, might be added to the principle squad in absence of restricted choices.

“With limited options available, the team management can ask for Natarajan to be added to the squad,” the supply mentioned.
