Mithun Manhas is likely to be appointed as the next BCCI President, potentially ushering in a new era for Indian cricket. This would be a first, as no uncapped cricketer has ever held the position. Manhas has a strong background in domestic cricket, with nearly 15,000 runs across various formats, including 157 first-class matches, 130 List A matches, and 91 T20 matches. He is currently involved with the Jammu-Kashmir Cricket Association. The appointment is expected to be announced at the AGM on September 28th.
