WI vs IND: Aakash Chopra questions exclusion of Sarfaraz Khan from India’s squad for West Indies sequence

By India Today Sports Desk: Former India opener Aakash Chopra has criticized the Indian selectors for not offering readability on why Sarfaraz Khan has been excluded from India’s Test squad for the upcoming West Indies sequence. Sarfaraz was ignored of the 16-man squad introduced for the 2 Tests towards West Indies. Many former greats and followers had been outraged by Sarfaraz Ahmed’s omission from the Test crew towards WI.

“What should Sarfaraz do? If you see the first-class runs for the last three years, if the guy was going head and shoulders above the rest and scoring a lot of runs everywhere, and if he is not selected, what message does it send? This is a question worth asking,” Chopra mentioned in his YouTube video.

Sarfaraz Khan, a top-order batsman, has scored 3505 runs in 37 first-class matches at a mean of 79.65. He has been in glorious kind in recent times however has not been chosen for the Indian crew.
